WWII Poster "Let 'Em Have It" 4th War Loan "Buy Extra Bonds"
This is a 1943 poster from the United States home front during WWII. The poster reads, "Let 'Em Have It" in large yellow print at the top of the poster. The image is of a U.S. soldier in front of barb wire preparing to throw a grenade. In the background the blue sky is being covered by smoke, presumably from exploding grenades. The artwork for the poster was done by Bernard Perlin. Below the image it reads, "Buy Extra Bonds". The very bottom left of the poster it says "U.S. Government Printing Office: 1943-O-563183", in the center of the poster it says "Official U.S. Treasury Poster", and in the bottom right corner it says "WFD 879A". The frame measures 56.5 cm x 72.5 cm and the poster is still in amazing condition! The poster was originally folded over into eighths and has been preserved as such. The poster's front has vivid color, is still in great shape, and would make a perfect gift for any U.S. Army or WWII collector!!
